NASA TVNASA TV: NASA Television provides real-time coverage of Agency activities and missions as well as resource video to the news media, and educational programming to teachers, students and the general public. NOTE: As of 12:01 a.m. EDT July 1, 2005, digital NASA TV is available on AMC 6, Transponder 17C. Analog NASA TV is no longer available on satellite AMC 6, Transponder 9. Analog NASA TV will remain on AMC 7, Transponder 18C through NASA's Return to Flight mission. NASA TV via Satellite: Digital NASA Television can be seen in the continental United States on AMC-6, at 72 degrees west longitude, Transponder 17C, 3880 MHz, vertical polarization, audio at 6.8 MHz. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, NASA TV can be seen on AMC-7, at 137 degrees west longitude, Transponder 18, at 4060 MHz, vertical polarization, audio at 6.8 MHz in analog through NASA's Space Shuttle Return to Flight mission. Many cable television companies throughout the United States provide a channel for coverage during missions. If you are unable to find NTV on your cable television system, you may want to contact your service provider.
