Postdoctoral Researcher, Max-Planck-Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics

Dr. Stefanie Komassa
Dr. Stefanie Komossa is a postdoctoral researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Garching, Germany, where she received her Ph.D. in astrophysics in 1998. She is mainly working on the X-ray emission of active galactic nuclei and the search for supermassive black holes in non-active galaxies.

In 2001, she received the Ludwig-Biermann Award of the German Astronomical Society.
