During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was executed on Feb 18 to update the on-board ephemeris.

A Chandra press release was issued on Feb 23 describing the first direct evidence for a superfluid at the core of a neutron star. Chandra observations of Cassiopeia A, a supernova remnant located about 11,000 light years away from Earth, taken over a decade show significant cooling in the dense core left behind after the explosion. This cooling is likely caused by a neutron superfluid forming in its central regions. For details see: http://chandra.harvard.edu/press/11_releases/press_022311.html
