Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 23 March 2007 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was performed on Mar 17 to set the short eclipse flag to 'true' in preparation for the lunar eclipse on Mar 18. Chandra passed through a 36 minute eclipse on Mar 18 with nominal power and thermal performance. Following the eclipse real-time procedures were completed to disable SCS 29 to set the short eclipse flag to 'false'.

The schedule of targets for next week is shown below and includes a series of observations of Supernova 1987A.
