During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Real-time procedures were executed on Sep 2 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer and to perform a diagnostic dump of the Control Processing Electronics (CPE). Of note this week, a call for white papers for a new set of Chandra Cool Target (CCTs) was released. These are targets useful to assist in thermal control of Chandra susbsystems when suitable non-CCT targets are not available. The current call will supplement the targets selected from the first call in 2018. White papers are due Oct 23. For details, see https://cxc.cfa.harvard.edu/proposer/CCTs.html The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below. |
