Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 3 August 2018 9.00am EDT

During the last week the observing schedule was replanned to incorporate an observation of sGRB180727A, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Jul 29. Loads for the replanned schedule were uplinked on Aug 2. A scheduled observation of SN2018bsz was impacted by the replan and will be rescheduled in a future week.

A real-time procedure was executed on Jul 27 to command ACIS to dump the flight software from EEPROM. The dump was compared to images maintained on the ground as a routine check. A second real-time procedure was executed on Jul 31 to swap the prime solid-state recorder (SSR) from the A-side to the B-side. This swap concludes a six-month interval of health and trending data collection on SSR-A. A third real-time procedure was executed on Aug 1 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of Sw1644+57 coordinated with VLA.
