Visual Description: Perseus Cluster

This dark and dramatic composite image of the Perseus Cluster of galaxies shows a navy blue and deep magenta nebulous structure in the center, with two large dark hollows, striking wisps and lines in the center, sprinkled with tiny galaxies and other celestial objects around it. The image combines X-ray data from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory (colored in blue) of the Perseus galaxy cluster, with optical data from the Hubble Space Telescope (pink) and radio emission from the Very Large Array (red).
