During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Preparations were completed this week for the 2005 summer eclipse season consisting of 5 medium eclipses starting on July 13.

A Chandra image release was issued on 7 July describing observations of the comet Tempel 1 performed on 30 June. For details see http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2005/dimpact/

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes a continuation of the series of observations of the comet Tempel. The observations are coordinated with observations by Spitzer, XMM, GALEX and CHIPS. Also in the week is an observation of M81 coordinated with the VLA.
