Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 5 June 2009 8.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Chandra passed through the first three eclipses of the 2009 summer eclipse season on May 28, Jun 2 and 4 with nominal power and thermal performance.

A real-time procedure was executed on Jun 3 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of GRO J1655-40 coordinated with the Australia Telescope Compact Array.
