Operations CXO Status Report

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was completed on Sept 15 to update the on-board Ephemeris.

On Sept 17 a procedure was performed from the daily loads to lower the ACIS focal-plane temperature set-point during an extended HRC observation; the set-point was returned to its nominal value prior to the subsequent ACIS observation. The goal of this procedure was to determine the margin available for control of the ACIS focal-plane temperature.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below.
