Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 4 August 2000 12.30pm EDT

During the last week, Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

We executed the routine monthly procedure to update the onboard ephemeris coefficients.

Transmission grating observations of Comet c/LINEAR 1999, planned for next week, have been cancelled due to the spectacular breakup of the comet.

Testing of the new release of the Off-line system, version 9.0, has been completed. OFLS 9.0 is ready for installation as operating software.
