Friday 1 October 1999 9.00am EST

During the last 24 hours Chandra exited the radiation belts, performed a post-belt ACIS CTI measurement and began a long GTO observation of the target MS 1137.5+6625. This target will be observed during the next 24 hours. A software patch to the Aspect Camera was uploaded as the final safe-mode clean-up action. The spacecraft systems continued to operate nominally.

The next mission schedule was completed and command loads are in review. This schedule is planned to begin at 10:30AM 10/2.
