Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 7 July 2017 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Chandra passed through the fourth, fifth, and sixth eclipses of the season on Jul 1, 4, and 6 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. A real-time procedure was executed on Jul 6 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of Jupiter coordinated with Juno, XMM-Newton, and NuSTAR, an observation of Sgr A* coordinated with Spitzer, an observation of CXO J164710.2-455216 coordinated with NuSTAR, and an observation of SDSS J110731.23+13471, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Jun 29.
